L.I. Kiwi Sport - Rippa Rugby
Yesterday we did rippa rugby, Room 5 and St Patrick came with us. we were in groups from our year, I was in the year 5 group, we had two coaches.
Then we learned how to catch the ball. Then we played a game but we had to put on our red and black tags.
After we played some other games we were finished, LS1 went in a line and we got rippa rugby papers if we wanna register, I felt happy but also tired.
I am a Year 6 student at Panmure Bridge School, Auckland, New Zealand. My teachers are Mr Wong and Mr Ogilvie.

Positive Relationships
L.I. positive communication
Today in kiwi can we learnt about positive communication. Miss Grace and Mr Smanu told us how to speak nicely when we are communicating.
Then we started a energzier and we were in teams. I was in team S and the other people were in team G. Then my team had to put the cones upside down and the other team had to turn them up.
Then we played a another activty so when Smanu say 1,2,34,5 then we had to do a action then we were sitting in two line then we did a vs we kept on going and my team won.
After kiwi can I felt happy and I think the other team tried their best.

Basic Facts
Today in class I did basic facts.We had to answer all of the them while we do that we had to put the
timer on while we are answering them.
Punctuation Marks
This week went learnt about five different punctuation marks and how to use them.
First we learnt about what punctuation marks are and how to use each different are.
Next we created a poster to show our learning.
Our group did full stops.
Hopefully I can use the correct punctuation in my writing.
Fact Find

Today for this activity we did a fact find. My group chose to do Tupac Shakur we did different jobs my job was to put the introduction . We thought that it was easy to do this topic. We enjoyed our topic and we are proud of this work.

L.I. Jigsaw puzzle This week we did puzzle sovleing in groups there was symbols on them after we manged to put the puzzle together but we had to figure out what was the meaning of the puzzle. Te tiriti o Waitangi
This week we have been learning about the Treaty of Waitangi by accessing different text types and media.
In groups we needed to firstly access the information and gather the main ideas of Who, What, Where, Why and When. We had journal stories, websites, youtube videos and more.
We then had to summarise the information into sentences using key words. Even though we all picked out different words, the main idea of the treaty are the 3 Ps.
The 3 Ps are Protection, Partnership and Participation. This is what the treaty set out to achieve.

Martime Explorers
L.1. to study the history of NZ Martime explorers
went to the Martime Musemum to find out about the martime explores.
I saw a lots of boats like kayaks and waka.
I found out the Sir Peter Blake was the best New Zealand sailor.
I watched a video about the frist explores coming to Aotearoa.
I enjoyed Learning about things I never new before.
Carzy Cricket Chaos
L.1.- To develop Fundamental Movements.
We did our first session of cricket with Brian from HPCC.
I did a sesssion on throwing a set of stumps.
We had to hit two balls off the cones as far as we could.
Lastly we did a catching drill with two balls in a big circle
I was so tired at the end from all the running.I need to work on aming when throwing.
