Today we were doing steam. It was kinda hard to do this because we had to fill the boxes in with the words but I got use to it.

Matariki Celebration

To celebrate Matariki we had a sausage sizzle for lunch. Then we went to the hall for a special Matariki celebration. We watched the junior kapa haka then it was the Pacifica group. Then we had a song from the Ukulele group, finally we watched the senior kapa haka.

Space Art

We did this art on space. First we shaded in craters using a sketching pencil and rubbing. Next we dyed some coffee filters to make the planets. Then we flicked the white pain to make it look like stars. Finally we glued it all together. I think it looks amazing.

Celebrating Matariki

Last Friday we were celebrating Matariki. Before we went to celebrate we had a sausage sizzle.The Junior kapa haka group did a performance first. After that we watched a video of 7 sisters of Matariki. Then it was pacifica. The last one was senior kapa haka. I had fun at the hall celebrating Matarikiki.
